Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good Christmas & New Year. 2017 - can't believe it!
Time for a new challenge over at Creative Artiste.
We are sponsored by:
I was lucky enough to receive a fab bag of goodies from Things to Alter. I chose the fairy & toadstool shapes.
I cut a piece of cardboard - (from the many cardboard boxes that various Christmas goodies came in!) and painted with dark blue acrylic paint. I used white & pink acrylic paint through stencils. Coloured the shapes using acrylics. Stencilled onto the wings using the acrylic & then decided I wanted to use embossing powder - would it work with the paint? Yes it did! Gave the shapes a blast of spray & shine.
Gave the background stencils a bit of sparkle with some sparkle pens.
Wrote the word believe in sparkle pen - because I really do have to believe it's 2017!
Head on over to Creative Artiste - check out the other DT's makes, enter the challenge & you might win some of the lovely shapes from Things to Alter.
Happy New Year!
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Bev xx
