Vacation ATC

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd pop on and share this ATC with you.
I bought the stamps from Stampin' Up - the background is from Best Birds stamp set & the globe, planes & sentiment are from Places You'll go stamp set. Would just like to say thanks to
Carol Christie on FB for getting these stamps for me.
I stamped the background onto white card using peacock feathers & mowed lawn distress inks. Stamped the stand onto the background. Stamped the globe onto white card, coloured in using distress inks & cut out. Placed this onto the 'stand'. Stamped the little planes onto the background. Stamped the sentiment onto white card, cut out & inked with spiced marmalade DI. Inked around the ATC with spiced marmalade.
I made this for a challenge over on Flickr, the theme is on vacation - I think this meets the theme!

Hi everyone! Well it's the first day of summer - it was like winter this morning, cold & raining, now the sun is shining with a bit of a cool wind - who knows what to wear??

I just thought I'd share my vintage ATC with you. I have been making vintage ATC's for a swap and think I am still in that frame of mind.

The background patterned paper is a Geli print, then a small piece of patterned paper - which is part of a great poundshop find. Stamped the image onto white card using rusty hinge DI.

Die cut the edge of the ATC, applied gilding wax around the edges, on the die cut part & on the wooden embellishment. Assembled everything. Quite pleased with how this one turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Daydream ATC's

Hi everyone - hope you have all had a good weekend & are ready for the week ahead.
I have popped on to show you the ATC's I have made for the swap over at Blissful ATC swap - the theme was daydream
I hope I have captured the theme as I had a bit of a time thinking of anything to do!
They are quite 'shimmery' & 'glittery' as I have used Cosmic Shimmer powders & glitter pens, but it doesn't show up on the photo.
I have used stamps, distress inks, Brusho paints, Cosmic Shimmer powders & glitter pens.
These will be winging their way to the USA soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Circus ATC's

Hi everyone - hope you're having a good weekend.
Just thought I'd pop by & share with you my circus ATC's that I have made for a swap over at A Little Piece of Me.
Each ATC is like a little card.
I inked the front with green & blue distress inks. I made the tent from white paper, paper pieced the red parts. Attached this to the ATC front & folded back the tent to make the entrance.
Stamped out a ticket, inked with distress in & wrote admit one. Stamped the roll up onto white card.
For the insides I printed off the images to size, I inked over the black & white images to tone it down a little. I added a little glitter with some glitter pens to the coloured images.
Went around the edges with gold gilding wax.
Hope you like them.
Thanks for stopping by.

Crafty Calendar DT post

Hi everyone! A new month so a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar. The theme is Father's Day/For a Male.
The sponsor this month is

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Here you will find monsters, aliens,
odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps. Our artist and founder cut
his teeth in the craft world at the company "Just  Inklined", where his unique digis made a huge impression.
We're hoping to continue to entertain and amuse, with our growing catalogue of great value digis with
a sense of humour.

The images I have used are Aubery Bumbelthorpe & Harley.
I printed them to the size I needed & coloured with Inktense pencils & some silver Inka Gold for the motorbike. Cut them out.
Ran some black card through the Grand Calibur with a honeycomb embossing folder, sanded lightly to highlight it.
Matted some black & white patterned paper onto a card blank, then matted the  black card onto the card. Added some brads that look like screws at the corners.
The record image was a freebie stamp from a magazine, stamped this onto white card, coloured the centre & edged with silver Inka Gold so it would stand out from the background.
I arranged all the elements onto the card. Adhered Aubrey & the record with foam pads for a bit of dimension.
Pop over to the Crafty Calendar blog & take a peek at the other DT's makes.

Thanks for stopping by.

DT post for Creative Artiste.

Hi everyone - there's a new challenge over at Creative Artiste.
The sponsor this month is:

For my Hearts & Flowers canvas I started by using Brusho paints. I sprinkled a very small amount of the colours I wanted then spritzed with water.
Once this was dry I had a couple of spaces so decided to fill these using Gelatos - mainly around the edges.
I stamped the flowers & hearts randomly using black Archival ink.
I then went around each stamped image with a quickie glue pen, let this dry until tacky then went around with my gold & red foils from Foilplay.
I then covered a cardboard heart roughly with gesso to give a bit of texture. Coloured with pink Pan Pastel then spritzed a little red Brusho onto it. Went around the edges & lightly over the heart with gold Inka Gold.
Attached some pearls around the edge of the heart with hot glue, added a metal heart in the middle & some pearls.
Went around the edges of the canvas with the Inka Gold, attached some pink lace.
Had great fun using all the different techniques on this.
Hope you can join in the challenge this month.
Pop over to the blog & see the gorgeous makes from the other DT members.

Thanks for stopping by.
