Hi everyone! Well the sun has disappeared today & the rain clouds are back, think the heating might have to go on!
This card was made for the colour challenge over on Outlawz - the theme this week was to use shades of one colour. You can use other colours but the main colour shades have to be prominent.
The background is a small stamp stamped lots of times, then I have inked over this with abandoned coral & picked raspberry distress inks.
A smaller background was made from pink card, stamped with the same stamp using tattered rose DI.
Stamped the flamingo onto white card and coloured with the DI's & cut out.
Stamped the sentiment onto pink card, matted onto white & inked with pink around the edges.
Arranged everything onto the card - thought it needed a little something else so I stamped the flowers a couple of times onto white card & coloured in. Added these on foam pads fo a bit of dimension.
Added some glossy accent onto the flowers & the largest flower on the flamingo.
Added a few highlights of colour onto the background.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Bev xx
