DT post for Crafty Calendar
Hi everyone -hope you all had a good Hallowe'en & bonfire night if you celebrate either of these.
Time for another challenge over on Crafty Calendar challenge blog. The theme this month is sparkle, bling and embellish.
The sponsor this month is Brenda's Lace and Ribbon Specials. Here's a pic of the prize:
I have a friend's birthday in January and thought this would be a good theme for her card.
As it is a winter birthday I decided to use snowflakes as a bunch of flowers.
I die cut the snowflakes in various sizes from white card, blue card & blue glitter card'
I'm really into Kraft card at the moment so used this as my base card.
Picked various papers with a wintry theme to use as backing papers & the paper ribbon down the side. Also used these for the 'stems' & 'leaves'.
I stamped some snowflakes onto the Kraft card using Versamark then sprinkled with some embossing powder.
Stamped the sentiment onto some of the backing paper & made a tab.
Placed all the elements onto the card, finished with a silver bow & some blue stickles on the white snowflakes.
Hope you can pop over to the Crafty Calendar blog and have a look at all the other DT members lovely makes, hopefully enter the challenge as well!
