DT post for Jiggery Makery

Hi everyone! Here is this week's post for Jiggery Makery using the lovely digi image Penny, designed by Adele Bradwell.
I decided to do a 50's style poster.
I found a free clipart image of a juke box, imported this along with the digi image Penny into Craft Artist.
I designed the middle part in CA. Found a suitable background, then some text for the 'Rock & Roll'. Resized, copied & mirrored the Penny image. When I was satisfied with the design I printed this onto an A4 card. I then copied the Penny images again & printed these off onto white card to colour & cut out.
Coloured the Penny images using my Inktense pencils & left these to dry before cutting out.
I found a brick wall stencil. I masked off the image using post it notes, then inked through the brick wall mask using rusty hinge DI.
I found some stamps with images of tickets, stamped out using black Archival ink, cut them out then inked around them with frayed burlap DI. Stamped the car image with the black Archival, coloured in with green DI then cut out.
I went around the bricks with frayed burlap DI.
I thought it looked a little empty at the bottom so stamped some poppies & coloured these in.
I inked through a graffiti mask & a stain mask on various parts of the wall using DI.
I used some stickle glitter on the dresses & bows. Then some foiling on the dresses, wording, car & poppies to give even more sparkle. Added a gem onto the dresses.
Stuck the Penny images over the images on the initial print using foam pads, stuck the car in the bottom corner.
Here is a closer pic to show the glitter & foiling. I took it at an angle to highlight the sparkle!

You can find Penny & loads more lovely digi images over on Jiggery Makery's Etsy shop .
