Hi - another post today!
I have found a great blog Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog. Every Wednesday is a new challenge to make an ATC following the theme. Guess what this week's theme is! You got it snowmen!
I already had some card cut to the right size for ATC's, covered this with some freebie blue backing paper. I found some mesh that was left over from some Christmas crafting, so adhered this to the ATC.
Stamped out my snowman image onto white card & coloured using my Inktense pencils. Carefully cut him out.
Fixed the snowman to the ATC using foam pads & added a few bits of bling. It didn't seem finished to me, so I had another look around & founs some sparkly dark blue ribbon. I attached this down each side of the ATC.
Thanks for stopping by - again.

Dt post for Jiggery Makery

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ready for the snow !
Here is this week's make for Jiggery Makery using the lovely digi image 'Rita', designed by Adele Bradwell. Another cheeky valentine.
I downloaded the image & resized to the size I wanted. Coloured her in using my Inktense pencils.
Carefully cut her out. I mounted the image onto some gold mirri & cut around the image leaving a small gold border.
Cut an aperture from a white card & adhered some red heart vellum behind the aperture.
I adhered 'Rita'  to the centre of the vellum & added some embellishments around the edges.

DT post for JB Crafting Supplies

Hi everyone - hope you have all had a good weekend & are ready for the week ahead. I'm just glad all the snow has gone here.
I wasn't sure what to do for this weeks make for JB Crafting Supplies, then I happened to empty my teabag box! I would transform the box into a lovely caddy for my teabags.
Here is how the box started out -

- ok but not pretty enough & not sturdy enough to keep reusing.
I started by strengthening the box using some card to stick to the inside.
I picked out some green card to cover the box - a lovely green that matches my kitchen.
I then stamped the lovely Stampendous Teacup Cupcake image onto some white card. I coloured this using Inktense pencils.
I cut out the image & adhered it to the front of the box.
I stamped out 'Time For Tea' in green distress ink onto some white card, cut out each word & adhered to the lid of the box.
I think this is so much prettier than the original.
Thanks for stopping by.

DT post for Jiggery Makery

Hi everyone! Well it's very snowy here today and still snowing - glad I haven't got to go out in it!
Todays make for Jiggery Makery is made using the lovely Stacey image designed by Adele Bradwell.

I thought I would try something a little different. I decided to make a cheeky keyring to put onto a Valentines card.
I printed the image onto shrink plastic, about A5 size. I coloured in using various inks, then cut out leaving a small border. I punched a hole - remembered to do it before the shrinking this time!
Heated the shrink plastic using my heat gun. I love the see through effect on the negligee.
I attached some chain & a couple of charms - one just had to be the key to the 'Love Shack' !
I embossed some 'shacks' onto a label, inked around with some DI. Embossed a swirly heart onto some white card & inked around with the DI.
Put some ribbon through the keyring & attached it to the label.
Arranged the keyring & label on the card & attached with foam pads.
You can find this digi image, along with many more lovely images designed by Adele over on the Jiggery Makery Etsy Shop - go & have a browse.
There are links to the Facebook page, the blog & Etsy shop on my left hand sidebar.
Hope you like this weeks make & are not too snowed in.
Thanks for stopping by - stay warm.

DT post for JB Crafting Supplies

Hi everyone! Here is this weeks DT make for JB Crafting Supplies using those lovely Joanna Sheen papers designed by Janet Kruskamp.
I had bought myself a notebook - it looked a bit boring so decided to decorate it using those papers.

I chose which sheet I wanted to use from the pad - which took time as there are so many lovely designs. I cut out the elements & arranged them on the notebook until I found an arrangement I liked.
I thought it need something around the edges, so after looking through my stash decided on some lovely lace.
I adhered the lace onto the notebook first using some of that super sticky double sided tape, then placed the elements from the paper pad & adhered these using a wet glue.
I wrote my name on the tag, adhered this with foam pads & placed a gem on top of it.
I love my notebook now! Much better than the boring one I started out with. Go on - make yourself a lovely notebook!

Jiggery Makery DT post

Hi everyone! Here is my make this week for Jiggery Makery, using a lovely digi image - Princess - designed by Adele Bradwell.
It is such a lovely image - it just shouted decoupage to me for the layers on her dress.
I printed a few images off onto a sheet of A4 card, then coloured one whole image using my Inktense pencils. I then coloured one whole skirt of the dress, then coloured the upper part of the skirt & finally coloured the bow on her dress.
I cut out all the elements.
I had a square card that already had an embossed pattern on it. I inked around this with tattered rose DI.
I die cut some feathers from some freebie backing papers, inked around these with fired brick DI. Stamped the sentiment onto some white card, inked around this with the fired brick DI & mounted this onto some of the freebie backing paper. Inked around the edges again.
I arranged the feathers onto the card, placed the main image of Princess onto the feathers then added the layers of her dress using foam pads. I 'flicked' up the ruffles on her dress to give some dimension.
Finally added the sentiment using foam pads.
Here are closer photo's - one to show the lovely detail on the digi image & one to show the layers I made on her dress.

You can find Princess over on Adele's Etsy shop - along with loads more lovely images for sale. You can see what other members of the Jiggery Makery design team have made over on the Facebook page. Also see what else Adele has been up to over on the Jiggery Makery blog.

DT post for JB Crafting Supplies

Hi everyone! Bev here with this week's DT piece for JB Crafting Supplies.
I have used the lovely Stampendous stamp - teacup cupcake. I had some doilies & thought that these together with the stamp would make a lovely wall hanging.
I cut the middle from a white doily & stamped the image onto this using black Versamark ink. I coloured the image using my Inktense pencils - being careful not to tear the doily.
I adhered this to a pink doily - it was a lot larger  so I cut it down so as to make a smaller border.
I used the outer edge of the doily I had cut the centre from to make another border. This doily had some roses & leaves in the pattern so I coloured these using the pencils, to match the image.
I found yet another doily & placed this behind as a base.
Cut a circle of card, adhered this to the back just to give the hanging some strength.
Added some ribbon to hang it with & stamped the sentiment onto white card. Arranged the words around the image.
I hope you like this week's make & it inspires you to have a go!

A Jiggery Makery Valentine

Hi everyone! Here I am with the first DT post of the year for Jiggery Makery.
I was sent a lovely cheeky digi image from Adele Bradwell, so decided to make a valentine pop - up card. Here is the front -

I covered a card with some heart backing paper. Cut some hearts from some pink card. Stamped 'Be My' onto the largest heart. Edged the hearts with fired brick DI. Added some bows & curled some wire for the smaller hearts.
Now for the inside....

I printed out the digi image onto card, coloured in using my Inktense Pencils & carefully cut it out.
Lined the card with some more heart backing paper. I wrote 'valentine' onto the hearts in marker pen.
To make the pop-up part I closed the card & marked the centre of the crease, measured an equal space on each side of centre, then cut about an inch down from these marks. This piece can then be pushed to the inside of the card - this is where you adhere whatever it is you want to pop up. In my case the lovely digi image Lucy, designed by Adele Bradwell from Jiggery Makery.
It all folds down flat so great for posting!
Here is a closer look at the image.

Hope you like my Valentine pop-up card.
Please pop over to the Jiggery Makery Etsy shop here where you can find Lucy & other great images designed by Adele Bradwell.

DT post for JB Crafting Supplies

Hi everyone! Bev here with this weeks DT post for JB Crafting Supplies.
I have used the Joanna Sheen paper pad designed by Janet Kruskamp & a Crafter's Companion embossing folder - flower garden from the Vintage Floral collection.
Each page of the pad contains all you need to make a card - images, sentiments, 'ribbon' edging.
I decided that a get well card would be a good idea to make as everyone seems to be suffering from this awful cold/flu bug that is going around - us included! If you are suffering I hope you get well soon & looking at my card will make you feel a little better.
I embossed the front of a white card. I was going to ink over the design, but decided that the pattern is so deep that it can easily be seen & I think it suits the images from the paper pad better.
I cut out the images, 'ribbon' & sentiment, then arranged them on the card until I liked the arrangement.
I adhered the 'ribbon' using wet glue, the images & sentiment using foam pads.
The papers are so lovely there really is no need for any other embellishment & there is a lot of choice of images & sentiments to choose from.
Hope you like this weeks make.

Small mixed media canvas

Hi everyone! Happy New Year!

My make is a small 'canvas' - I say canvas but it started as a cereal box, I cut out a piece of card to the size I wanted. Emmbossed some white card using an embossing folder. I went over this with some teal acrylic paint to pick out the detail. I adhered this to the cardboard.
I went through my stash & found some chipboard shapes, some lace, a butterfly charm, watches/clock faces & some keys. I decided to do a theme of time flies.
I painted the chipboard pieces with acrylic paint, then set about arranging all the pieces until I found an arrangement I liked.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you all have a great 2015!
