Fir Tree

Hi Bloggers! It's the weekend - yay!
Here is a card I have made using Imagination Crafts Fir Trees stencil.
I used some metallic silver embossing paste from Dreamweaver through the stencil, then poured on some Tropic Moss Blaze Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder. Heated this with a heat gun, I liked the result - plenty of texture. I then cut out the pieces, went over each piece with gold Rub 'n' Buff to highlight the texture.
Ran some white card through my GC with a Darice embossing folder to get the spotty background.
Edged around the white card using blue sky Cosmic Shimmer iridedescent mica powder.
Cut a circle from white card & also edged this with the mica powder.
Ripped some white card to make the 'hill' & edged these with Oak House Studio ink - burgundy - very lightly just to give a hint of depth & shadow. Adhered these to the bottom of the card.
Arranged the pieces of the tree onto the card, checking with the stencil to make sure I placed them in the right order & with the right gaps between. Adhered with foam pads.
Embossed the sentiment onto white card using a Bringing Crafts To You embossing folder, cut out & adhered to some white ribbon. Attached this to the bottom of the card, wrapping the ribbon around the back of the card.
Found some lovely white lace in my stash - edgead all around the card with this.
Cut out a piece of green mirri card, punched the corners.
Adhered the card to the mirri.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bev xx
