My first make for Just For Fun challenge blog
It was sad that the Christmas Fun blog closed but the lovely Elaine Rayworth offered me a DT place on her blog Just For Fun Challenge Blog - thanks Elaine.
The theme for June is here comes summer, but from July it will be anything goes.
The word (well it's two words because there were two winners!) over on One Word Wonder is seaside/purple. I thought this would be ok for the JFF blog too.
The images are Pink Gems stamps. I stamped them with black archival ink, coloured with Cosmic Shimmer watercolours. Cut the images out.
For the background I found some freebie cloud paper, tore some blue card for the sea, and pinched a bit of OH's sandpaper (oops!) for the beach!
I painted shadows under the girl & the dog with watercolour paints.
Stamped the sentiment, which was a freebie Lili of the Valley stamp from Simply Cards & Papercraft, onto yellow card using orange ink & then heat embossed. I liked that it was a round stamp - thought it would do for the sun - think we could do with some of that!
Have a pop over to Just For Fun Challenge Blog & take a look at the other DT's fantastic makes for some inspiration & enter the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bev x
