Hi everyone! Today has been lovely here, hope it has wherever you are & you have been able to enjoy it.
Today's word on One Word Wonder was embellishment.
Needed to make a birthday card for someone so here it is!
I cut
some 12 x 12 card in half to make a 6 x 6 card but decided to make an
easel card. I found some freebie papers - Emma's Garden by Jennifer
Ellory - I picked some striped & checked. Cut these in half
diagonally & glued onto base card. Cut strips of green card to
cover join. Die cut some flowers & leaves using my Grand
Calibur, stuck these on the diagonal, edged the leaves with some olive
green distress ink, made a sentiment with card & edged with
distress ink, added pearls to flower centres & on sentiment, a bow & a butterfly to finish it off.
Hope you like it.
