The theme over on Christmas Fun Blog this fortnight is green tree or anything goes - but it has to be a card.
For my green tree card I embossed some green vellum using my Grand Calibur & a Couture Creations embossing folder - Star Pere Noel. I liked the embossed image but wanted the tree & its decorations to stand out more. I carefully painted the tree using Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer watercolour in emerald gold, coloured the decorations in yellow sun & lava red.
Matted the vellum onto some white card, then adhered this to my red card.
Found some green bling in my stash, stuck these into three corners.
Die cut a tag from some freebie paper - positioning die over the sentiment. Distressed around the edges of tag with barn door Distress Ink. Stuck a bow on the tag then placed this on top left corner.
For my anything goes card I found some freebie Forever Friends decoupage sheets.
Die cut a shape using Grand Calibur & Spellbinders labels 28. Distressed edges of this using barn door Distress Ink.
Adhered the decoupage into the centre of shape.
Made a card from some Kraft card. Stamped the music using frayed burlap Distress Ink & distressed around the edges of the card with same ink.
Found the sentiment on the decoupage sheet, distressed with frayed burlap & placed on card.
