For my third nautical piece for JB Crafting Supplies I decided to make a card in the shape of a screen.
Took a piece of card, folded it in half then folded each end in. I used a spellbinder die to cut the 'legs'. Used the Tied Together Couture Creations embossing folder to give the card some texture, taking care not to go over the legs. Went around the edges and along the creases with barn door distress ink.
Cut some panels from red & blue card, a little smaller than the panels on the screen, adhered these to the screen, cut some smaller panels from the backing paper by Adele Bradshaw at Jiggery Makery. Adhered these panels to the red & blue panels.
Printed the image & sentiment, adhered these to the screen, finished off with a few embellishments & a bit of bling.
Here is the backing paper; image and sentiment used from Adele Bradshaw at Jiggery Makery.
I have entered this in:
Squigglefly - use a digi image & sentiment
Love to Create - make it sparkle with bling
Crafty Girls Challenges - anything goes (closes 5/3)
very nice. love the background paper

What a fun card shape! Works so well for a nautical theme and I would never have guessed it. Fun images and sentiment too. Fun feel to the card overall - and very creative. Thanks for sharing this with us in the Squigglefly challenge.
