Alphabet Challenge Blog

R is for roses - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, I used a rose & sentiment stamp from a rubber stamp set by Creative Expresssion. Stamped this onto white card, coloured in using watercolours. I highlighted the roses with stickles. I embossed around the edge using the Majestic embossing board from the Glitter Girls. I sponged the edges with pink chalk. Stamped the sentiment onto white card, sponged with pink chalk, made a faux stitched border. Mounted the rose onto mulberry paper, stuck this onto the card, stuck the sentiment onto a darker mulberry paper tag, mounted onto the card using foam pads.

My Inchy Swaps

Here are the inchies I made for the 'On the Beach' swap over on Inchy by Inch. I used sandpaper, shrink plastic, rubber stamp & watercolours.

Alphabet Challenge Blog

Q is for quotes - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, I made a tag. I used Microsoft Word to find a tag shape, printed this onto card & covered with some deep red mulberry paper. Back to Word to find a heart shape, insereted a text box into the heart to write my quote. Coloured on the pc, printed onto glossy photo paper. I edged the heart with red glitter, mounted onto some red paper & shaped this around the heart. Attached the heart onto the tag using some red heart shaped brads. Decorated the rest of the tag with some heart shaped gems and some punched flowers. A dab of stickles in the middle of the flowers & a red ribbon added the finishing touch.

New Home tag

I found this free digi image over on Spyders Corner - thanks Lyn. I decided to make a tag. I coloured it in using ProMarkers. Put some spotty backing paper onto the tag, edged it with Promarker. Cut out the image & stuck this onto the backing paper, made a new home label. Mounted this using foam pads. Finished off with some green ribbon.

Alphabet Challenge Blog

P is for punches - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, I made a bookmark. I used a freebie face stamp from Craft Stamper designed by Tracey Coates for The Stamp Man. I have only used part of the stamp - there is some text on it. I stamped this onto white card using black Stazon. I coloured the eyes & gave them some 'eyeshadow' with Promarkers. I stuck a page from an old book onto some card & cut a strip the same width as the eye. I stuck both these onto some rainbow card from my stash & Stuck some gems above the eye. I punched the bottom, punched a hole in the top & threaded through some Papillon craft yarn.

Alphabet Challenge Blog

O is for ovals - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, I used a freebie flower stamp from Craft Stamper designed by Betsy Griffin of Innovative Stamp Creations - I love the script on this stamp. I used papers from an Abstract Prints designer paper pack designed by Kelly Harwood, from Dovecraft. Stamped the flower using black Stazon. Stuck these onto a covered oval, which I edged with gold pen. The butterflies are from a petals & wing stamp set from The Glitter Girls Collection.
